Car PC opens up new possibilities in mobile online communications, using the latest in networking technology. Whereas in the past agents often had to wait for their base to get back to them with information they had requested over the radio, they can now access central computer systems themselves directly, giving them instant access to up-to-date records. And MRZ, RFID and SmartCard readers are now built in, making it possible to carry out ID checks in the fi eld.
